A corporate restructuring that crosses jurisdictions, an insolvency proceeding with competing classes of creditors, a criminal matter with regulatory and commercial dimensions – these call for a practice able to hold the full complexity of a matter without losing sight of what the client actually needs.

That is the practice August Attorneys LLP was built for.

The firm was founded and is led by Mr. Shailendra Singh, Advocate, enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi (Enrolment No. D/534-A/01) and in practice since 2001. He is also an Insolvency Professional registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Registration No. IBBI/IPA-002/IP-N00471/2017-2018/11372), and has held appointment as Interim Resolution Professional and Resolution Professional – including in real estate corporate insolvency resolution processes – and as Liquidator. He is a Mediator, trained under the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) of the Supreme Court of India and empanelled with the Supreme Court Mediation Centre, and is registered in Part II of the DIFC Courts’ Register of Practitioners in Dubai (provisional, pending first appearance). The firm comprises advocates and legal professionals practising across litigation, advisory and transactional work.
